This paper develops a theoretical framework for a non-representational form of autistic intelligence, referred to here as operatoric cognition. The term is introduced as a technical neologism and must not be conflated with Piaget’s operational or symbolic-logical pensée opératoire. In contrast to Piaget’s concept, which is grounded in representational operations, “operatoric” here designates dynamic-topological processes such as folding, indimergence, tension thresholds, and emergent form production — processes that function independently of semantic representation. The starting point is a unique longitudinal corpus (2001–2025) consisting of eleven books, a feature film, and additional research artefacts produced by a single autistic individual (n = 1). The analysis reveals a remarkable pre-theoretical structural invariance of five operators across different life phases, media, and domains. This invariance suggests that what is operative here is not stylistic, narrative, or cultural influence, but a stable cognitive architecture functioning at a subsymbolic level. The paper formulates this architecture as a testable hypothesis, clearly distinguishes it from representational and narrative models, and develops a validation programme (blind coding, control groups, machine-assisted structural analysis) that includes explicit falsification criteria. Primary economy is understood as that form of work which directly brings forth reality, livability, and social coherence: care work, commons practice, cultural and epistemic work, ecological reproduction, as well as self-determined, enactively embedded activities. Secondary economy, by contrast, describes those economic processes that extract, formalise, administer, and skim value from the primary economy. It is derivative in nature, operates on the basis of abstraction, standardisation, and control, and tends structurally to obscure its own dependence on primary value formation. On the basis of neurodivergent, artistic research and enactive systems analysis, it is shown that the systematic overvaluation of the secondary economy leads to the exhaustion of social, ecological, and epistemic resources. The distinction proposed here allows for a re-conceptualisation of work, value, and productivity beyond capitalist value thresholds and forms a foundation for alternative economic models that prioritise livability over growth. The Unfolding Gap does not describe a subjective delay or individual failure, but a systemic property of certain forms of work whose effects unfold relationally, cyclically, and often over longer periods of time, and thus evade immediate quantification. Modern economic orders, by contrast, are oriented toward immediate visibility, comparability, and measurable output. As a result, forms of work that sustain social, cultural, or ecological continuity either remain invisible or are forced into short-term performance formats that damage their actual effectiveness. The paper argues that this structural incompatibility gives rise to a central mechanism of contemporary crises, including persistent poverty, exhaustion, care crises, and a paradoxical form of innovation stagnation. Against this background, the widespread assumption that innovation generally leads to gains in prosperity is also called into question. The Unfolding Gap makes visible that innovations may generate increases in efficiency and output, while simultaneously undermining real foundations of prosperity when they shorten the temporal, relational, and regenerative conditions of work. The analysis shows that submergent, invisible work (care, ecological regeneration, social cohesion, psychic regulation, cultural stabilisation) generates the majority of societal carrying capacity, yet does not transition into economic value-form. Poverty therefore does not arise from a lack of work, but from a lack of emergence. Capitalism is structurally based on the invisibilisation of world – value arises through exclusion. Only what crosses the value threshold becomes visible. The central contribution of this paper is the derivation of a post-market value order. For this, UBI (Universal Basic Income) is contrasted with an alternative model: UCI (Universal Care Income). While UBI is fed by submergent performance and thus rests upon exploitation, UCI makes invisible work emergent and shifts value ontology. Autism is not a cognitive deviation within a singular human architecture, but an independent system of knowing. This paper develops the foundational structure of autistic epistemology as a fully valid, non-representational, high-resolution mode of cognition. It identifies four core operators – Fidelity, Hyperspecificity, Pattern Attunement, and Non-Representational Immediacy – and demonstrates that they generate a form of world-contact that does not rely on abstraction or social coherence. Autistic knowledge does not compress complexity. It preserves it. The result is epistemic bifurcation: a neurotypical architecture that models, predicts, and reduces, and an autistic architecture that perceives, maintains resolution, and maps reality without representational loss. This paper proposes a new ontology of labour that defines work not as the production of marketable output but as relational agency: embodied, self-determined interaction that generates social and ecological reality through resonance. The core thesis is that capitalist economies do not merely neglect non-market forms of labour—such as artistic practice, care work, activism, and deep autistic focus—but structurally attack them, because relational labour destabilises the value regime on which capitalist legitimacy depends. Drawing on methodologies of Artistic Research and neurodivergent cognition, the paper conceptualises autistic, embodied work as a high-resolution mode of system analysis, in which sensing, thinking and acting remain inseparable. Under this model, lived cognition functions as a measurement device rather than a source of bias. The analysis combines philosophical argument with empirical evidence derived from ten years of autoethnographic field research inside German state institutions and corporate environments. These encounters—which resulted in escalating administrative sanctions, bureaucratic harassment, and legal repression—demonstrate that punishment did not follow refusal to work, but followed precisely when the author’s self-determined labour exposed institutional dysfunction. Rather than representing personal misfortune, these events constitute a dataset revealing a general mechanism: the more a form of labour produces social complexity through resonance rather than through commodifiable output, the more hostile the system response becomes. The paper argues that the rise of AI and automation amplifies this conflict: since AI can simulate output but not resonance, contemporary labour policy rewards simulation and suppresses relational agency. As a result, societies risk destroying precisely the capacities they require for resilience and democratic self-correction. The paper concludes that a Universal Care Income is not a moral or humanitarian proposal but an epistemic infrastructure that enables relational labour to function as a stabilising intelligence within complex societies.
