My name is Adam. I have recently finished my PhD at the university of Western Australia. My dissertation attempted to explain the nature and limits of first-person authority—the thesis that our first-person ascriptions about what mental states we are in are more likely to be true, compared to the ascriptions that others make about our mental states.
