My research focuses on issues in medieval psychology, metaphysics, and methodology. Most notably, I specialize in cognition and causation according to a variety of different Latin medieval thinkers, in light of their general methods of inquiry, their more specific reasons and divisions, and their prior Ancient and Arabic authorities as well.
In Fall 2025 I will start a new fellowship at Humboldt University, Berlin, at the "Human Abilities" Centre for Advanced Studies in the Humanities.
