I work in the history of philosophy and have long-standing interests in European intellectual history, cultural and historical philosophy, Buddhism, ethics, and the philosophical reception of Friedrich Nietzsche. More recently, I have begun to turn my attention to Adorno’s aesthetic theory, Wagnerism, and the compositions and ethnomusicological writings of Béla Bartók, among others.
