Anthony Longo

Anthony Longo is a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer in the ethics and philosophy of technology at Tilburg University. He completed his PhD in Philosophy at the University of Antwerp, supported by a PhD fellowship from the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO). Before that, he studied Philosophy at the University of Antwerp and Digital Humanities at King’s college London, and was a visiting scholar at the Chair of Philosophy of Media and Technology at the University of Vienna. His research explores how algorithmic conditions reshape judgment and political and ethical subjectivity, particularly in the contexts of social media use and human-swarm teaming. His work has appeared in Techné: Research in Philosophy and Technology, Philosophy & Technology, Minds and Machines, AI & Society, Human Studies, and Arendt Studies. He also serves as Managing Editor of the Journal of Human-Technology Relations.
