I am a philosopher of education and have been teaching since 1989. I advocate for Philosophy for and with Children (P4wC) and for philosophy to be included as a core K-12 subject. It is never too early to start providing young people with the opportunities to think, and philosophy, with all its subdisciplines, is the most suitable subject to achieve this. The systematic teaching and learning of philosophy promote the 4th R - Reasoning, currently the elephant in the room of education.
