Eugen Huzum

I am Senior Researcher - and, from 2018, Director - at Gheorghe Zane Institute for Economic and Social Research, Romanian Academy, Iasi Branch, where I work from 2004. My main research interests are in political philosophy, epistemology, metaphilosophy, and the intersections between these three domains of philosophical reflection. In political philosophy I am specially interested in contemporary theories of justice, multiculturalism, and democratic theory. In epistemology, my primary interest lie in epistemic justification in general, and foundationalism in particular. Finally, my main metaphilosophical concern is the methodology of political philosophy (especially ideal theory). I serve as editor-in-chief two journals: Logos & Episteme. An International Journal of Epistemology and Symposion: Theoretical and Applied Inquiries in Philosophy and Social Sciences.
