I am a philosopher of physics with special interests in that theory that, to quote Percy Bridgman, "smells most of its human origins": thermodynamics. I also have interests in the epistemology of science, concerning idealization and induction.
I also work on other questions in domains which appear to have less of a human scent: quantum foundations, general relativity, and quantum gravity.
