I am interested both in theoretical problems (such as the philosophical definition of emotion, the puzzle of emotional recalcitrance and the ‘paradox of fiction’) and practical ones (i.e., moral psychological issues about the role of emotions in motivating moral behavior).

Since November 6th, 2024, I have received the Italian National Scientific Habilitation as Associate Professor in Moral Philosophy.
