Hongjoon Jo

I was born in Seoul, Korea, and received my Bachelor's degree from Korea University in Seoul, majoring in Western Philosophy. I subsequently obtained my doctorate in Philosophy at Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg, Germany. My research interests include contemporary European philosophy, phenomenology, hermeneutics and existential philosophy. I have published academic articles in various journals, including Humanities and Social Sciences Communications, Researches in Contemporary European Philosophy, Phenomenology and Contemporary Philosophy, Studies in Philosophy East-West, and others.
