Joel White is a philosopher working across modern European philosophy, historical epistemology and the philosophy of technology and science. His work examines how science and technology transform the conditions of knowledge, judgment and action, and how these transformations demand a reconsideration of the ambitions and limits of transcendental critique. He is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Dundee, Adjunct Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Staffordshire, and Co-Editor-in-Chief of Technophany: A Journal for Philosophy and Technology. He also teaches with The New Centre for Research & Practice and the School of Materialist Research, and translates French philosophy and literature.
