I am a moral philosopher with a particular interest in virtues and vices and in Kierkegaard's thought. I am currently PI on a study of self-righteousness as a major vice of the digital age, research supported by a 45,000,000 CZK ERC-CZ Research Grant (2024-28). I have part-time academic affiliations at the University of Pardubice in the Czech Republic, the University of Notre Dame Australia in Sydney, and a visiting professorship at the University of Hertfordshire, my former institution in the UK.
