Julian Friedland is a French-American professor of ethical business and technology, currently exploring how marketization reshapes social, civic, and professional identities. He was previously associate professor at Metropolitan State University of Denver, assistant professor at Trinity College Dublin, visiting professor at George Washington University and Fordham, and full-time instructor at the University of Colorado. His work has appeared in Academy of Management Perspectives, Journal of Business Ethics, MIT Sloan Management Review, Philosophical Investigations, New York Times, Irish Times, Boston Globe, and Chronicle of Higher Education.
