Julian Friedland is a French-American business ethicist currently examining how digital media markets are reshaping civic, social, and occupational norms. His work has appeared in Academy of Management Perspectives, Journal of Business Ethics, MIT Sloan Management Review, Philosophical Investigations, New York Times, Irish Times, Boston Globe, and Chronicle of Higher Education. Before joining UCONN, he was associate professor at Metropolitan State University of Denver, assistant professor at Trinity College Dublin, visiting professor at George Washington University and Fordham, and instructor at the University of Colorado Boulder.
