Nicola Zippel earned his MA in Philosophy at the Sapienza University of Rome in 2001 with a thesis on “The concept of time in Edmund Husserl’s Cartesian Meditations”. In 2007, he gained his Ph.D. in Philosophy with a dissertation concerning time, method, and subject in Husserlian phenomenology. During the doctorate, he spent a study’s stay at the “Husserl-Archive”, University of Cologne, Germany. He taught at both university and high school. Currently, he works as translator and editor at the Italian Publishing House Castelvecchi. Since several years, he leads a Philosophy laboratory at diverse elementary schools in Rome.
