I am a philosopher specializing in Kant’s philosophy, with a particular focus on the philosophy of biology, teleology, aesthetics, and the conception of reason. I am currently a DFG Walter Benjamin Fellow at the Kant Research Centre at Trier University, where I pursue my project on Kant’s philosophy of biology and its scientific legacy. My research focuses especially on Kant’s concepts of life and organized beings, the limits of mechanistic explanation, and the epistemological status of teleological judgment. I also work on women philosophers and the history of feminist thought.
