I am a retired philosophy professor. I published a memoir in 2012, 'Tales From the Brilliant Side of Growing Up.' In 2013 I published,"The Human Future: Seven Philosophical Dialogues." I am working on a paper, "Danto's End of Art Thesis Revisited." I am also working on two books. The first is a collection of papers, "Neglected Topics in Ethics." In it I am revising several published articles, and I am adding two new articles. The second is "American Democracy Redux." It is an attempt to provide a contemporary critique of American democracy from the perspective of the Enlightenment institutions set in place by the founders.
