I earned my Ph.D. at University of Illinois at Chicago in 1989. Immediately thereafter, I worked at Florida International for three years before moving to my current position at Central Michigan University. My areas of interest include ethics (especially the limits of obligation), moral psychology (including personal autonomy and philosophical psychopathology), and the moral/political status of children.
