Sergio Volodia Marcello Cremaschi (Bergamo, Feb 17 1949) was educated at the Classical Gymnasium' Paolo Sarpi', Bergamo and the Catholic University, Milan, where he graduated in Philosophy in 1971. He spent two years in Mogadishu, Somalia, as a teacher at a preparatory school.
