I'm an assistant professor at the university of Neuchâtel. I completed my thesis, "The Contours of Free Will Scepticism" in Oxford in 2019, under the supervision of John Hyman and Alison Hills.
These days, although my topic remains responsibility and freedom, I work more generally in ethics, the philosophy of action, and epistemology. My SNSF-funded project (2024-2028) proposes to inspect traditional questions of moral responsibility by using defences, i.e. excuses, justifications, and exemptions.
