Sofia Livi

I am a PhD candidate in Philosophy at Scuola Normale Superiore (Pisa), working at the intersection of philosophy of perception and cognitive science. My research investigates the nature of perceptual experience and its relationship with bodily and affective processes through an interdisciplinary approach that combines conceptual analysis with empirical research. Using olfaction and interoception as paradigmatic case studies, I address broader questions about perception, bodily awareness, and the sense of self.
