I am a doctoral researcher at the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt and a PhD candidate in the Department of Philosophy at Goethe University Frankfurt. My doctoral project develops a critical theory of nature after Schelling, Horkheimer, and Adorno. Situated in the context of the ecological catastrophe, the project examines both the retreat from the concept of nature and the tendency to obscure or de-name ideology and relations of domination within contemporary critical theory.
I hold a BA in Sociology and Politics from the University of Münster and an MA in Political Theory from Goethe University Frankfurt and TU Darmstadt. In 2016, I was a visiting graduate student in the Politics Department at The New School for Social Research, and in 2022 a visiting doctoral researcher at the School of Philosophy and Art History at the University of Essex.
From 2013 to 2018, my studies were funded by the Heinrich Böll Foundation. I subsequently received a doctoral scholarship from the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes (2021–2025) and was a member of its Geisteswissenschaftliches Kolleg from 2015 to 2017. From 2019 to 2021, I served on the board of the Gesellschaft für psychoanalytische Sozialpsychologie. In 2025–2026, I am a fellow at the Forschungsinstitut für Philosophie Hannover.
My research interests include Frankfurt School Critical Theory (especially Adorno, Horkheimer, and Sonnemann), social philosophy, philosophy of nature, German Idealism (particularly Schelling), and the intersections of psychoanalysis, philosophy, and sociology.
