I studied philosophy at the University of Sussex earning my DPhil with a thesis on Hegel and political philosophy. I have taught at the universities of Sussex and Hertfordshire and at the Open University. My main research interests are in 19th century German philosophy and ancient Greek philosophy. I also have interests in contemporary continental philosophy and the intersection of philosophy and literature. My book Articulations of Nature and Politics in Plato and Hegel is out now by Palgrave Macmillan.
