Vincent Blok (1970) is a Dutch philosopher working as professor in Philosophy of Technology and Responsible Innovation at the Wageningen University and professor in Philosophy of Data Science and AI at the Erasmus University Rotterdam (The Netherlands). He is also scientific director of the 4TU Centre for Ethics of Technology, a collaboration of the four Technical Universities in the Netherlands, and chairman of the ISVW (International School for Philosophy). Blok is interested in the meaning of disruptive technologies for the human condition and its environment and studies these phenomena from a continental philosophical perspective.
